My trip into Zara this afternoon left a burst of neon dangling from my shoulder. Can’t wait to pair this structured neon yellow bag with a crisp white dress (another sale find!) while I’m holidaying next week in Greece. This gem was such a bargain as well!
Note: Whilst in London, I will happily continue to count pounds as dollars. Thank you very much.
I have a new girl crush. Her name is Garance Dore.
You can check her out in all her fabulousness here.
Why is she my new girl crush you ask? Well, lately I have been loving sketching. In particularly, fashion sketches. The fine lines, abstract silhouettes, the funky poses and unique styles that each fashion sketcher comes to find their own.
My style inspiration right now is Garance. Her sketches are simple but beautiful and convey oh so much style!
A Beautiful Mess has a lovely post for beginners. The key to success, as with most things, is practice. I’m still in the practicing stage, buying a copy of Vogue each month sketching the latest runway shoots or visiting the V&A with friends to see fashion through the ages.
Let’s just say my sketches aren’t ready for the public eye…yet. But hopefully soon I will have a few to share with you!
These are some of my favourite places for sketchspriation:

They are back, I am in love.
Officially the comfiest and unfortunately, one of the most unflattering trends this season. Although, let us all remember how ‘gauchos’ were a thing too way back in the day. My bum and I will be chilling in these all summer. I’ll give credit to Sincerely Jules for inspiring my look and slight obsession to get my hands on the ripped TRF Zara number from their Spring lookbook. You would swear it was fate when I found them after they were sold out online and every Zara I check in London.
Can’t wait to rock these babies this summer! What are your thoughts on doing the dungaree thing?
& what. x

This is when I first fell in love with Audrey Hepburn (and dreamt of taking cooking classes en Paree). Her class, her style, her smile, her love, her legend, her everything. She is simply beautiful.
